Willie Mays 10A

10A Baseball:

+Player should have played previously in Community Education Recreational Baseball (Cub or Cards Baseball) or in Summer Traveling League.

+This is primarily a 10 year old player program for advanced skills play. Community Education Recreation will continue to have 9-10 old program.

+ Higher expectations are required of players at this level baseball.

+Higher level of competition and more advanced skills (pitching, hitting,

throwing) required.

+More practice time is expected and weekend tournaments could be possible.

Age Bracket Information:

Ages 9-10 years Grades 3 and 4. (Preferable 10 year olds)

MINIMUM AGE IS NINE YEARS OLD THE SUMMER OF PLAY OR CURRENTLY IN GRADES 3 OR 4 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR LEAGUE PARTICIPATION

**Age brackets are determined by age through APRIL 30 of this year. (MSF Rule)

Teams will be 12 players, maximum 14

Game Schedule:

Games are on Tuesday and Thursday nights (Late May – July)

Games start at 6:30pm

Six inning games

Bats, Bases and Pitching Distances

or CrowRiver Youth Baseball

Home Fields:

High School Varsity SB / Annandale Middle School
