HEAD COACHES --  SEASON REPONSIBLILITIES

  ü      Be a POSITIVE ROLE MODEL at all times to the players and parents.

  ü      Maintain CONTROL/BEHAVIOR of your players

  ü      BE ORGANIZED, COMMUNICATIVE, and PREPARED for practice/games with the players and parents.

           Each Team will have a designated Head Coach and designated Assistant Coach/Coaches

(A husband / wife will constitute only one coaching position)

PLACE ORDER FOR PLAYERS PANTS AT THE BEGINNING OF SEASON

 ARRANGE FOR MAKE UP GAMES AND FIELD AVAILABILITY FOR ALL RESCHULED GAMES:

 REPORT SCORES TO LEAGUE DIRECTORS: SB:John McRaith; BB Joel Guggemos   

      (Information given at Head Coaches Meeting in May)

EMAIL ALL INFORMATION (dougznorman@gmail.com)  game schedules, photographs

 Tourneys, etc, for website posting.

AFTER EACH GAME ALL COACHES ARE EXPECTED TO GROOM THE FIELDS FOR THE NEXT GAME, ESPECIALLY THE BATTERS BOX AND PITCHING MOUND.  

                                                (Use players help  with this responsibility)

      Grooming fields, chalking fields, and setting bases are your responsibility (May) until all game

      schedules, and final field schedules are completed.  The field groomer, maintenance

      person/persons will then prepare the fields.  

                Lime will be available in the box at the Big Woods Field

                Lime Markers are at the HS, South Haven, and Big Woods Field.

COLLECTION OF ALL TEAM EQUIPMENT AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SEASON.

      (WM,PWR,SK- 10U,12U)  A date for all equipment to LC Block will be given out later in the

      season

COLLECTION OF ALL TEAM UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT FOR GIRLS 16U/18U AND BOYS MM A date for all equipment to LC Block will be given out later in the season

DISTRIBUTE/COLLECT MEDICAL INFORMATION BEFORE THE FIRST CR LEAGUE GAME.

CONTACT AND SCHEDULE UMPIRES FOR ALL HOME GAME.

Coaches may elect to pay umpires each game and submit their entire season expenses for reimbursement or have the umpire earnings paid directly to the umpires at the end of the season (See Umpire expense/pay sheet)

            Each head coach will have umpire equipment for the entire season if needed.
